“Cycling has given me an outlet for stress and anxiety as well as a healthy mind and body!”

After each bike ride or indoor spin class, Gearing Up riders write down the miles that they have accrued that day and the overall feeling that they've brought back after riding. Riders also rank the difficulty of the ride on a scale of 1 to 5 and track their mileage, amassing double digits to triple digits in miles in a few months' time and eventually earning a bicycle after pedaling 150 miles and demonstrating basic bike maintenance.
